Dave Beatty B.A., B.ED., M.A.  
Management and Training Consultant

David Beatty is a teaching professional with thirty-three years experience as a teacher/administrator with the Calgary Catholic School division. He has completed Doctoral session work on Virtual Schooling and Brain-Based learning.

Dave has been a trainer/consultant for Performance Learning Systems out of New Jersey and the Canadian liaison for Drake University in Des Moines Iowa. He has taught grades one through post-graduate university courses.

As an Alberta Teachers' Association Instructor, he develops and presents workshops for school staff, teachers' conventions and parent groups around Alberta. As well, Dave is the Education Director of the Auto Academy in North America which trains Auto Sales Professionals.

Dave has received the Calgary Catholic's Excellence in Teaching Award, as well as having been nominated for the Pan Canadian Teaching Award.

Dave has extensive experience developing and presenting the following workshops: Brain-Based Learning; Gender Equity in the Workplace; Team Work; Communication; Goal Setting; Motivation; Portfolios; Humour in the Workplace; Multiple Intelligences; Conflict resolution.

He believes that for a presentation/workshop to be effective, people have to enjoy the humour of the presentation while nodding their head at the importance of the message.

Irene Brown Director of First Impressions, Mark Staffing Solutions  Irene joined Mark Staffing Solutions in August of 2002 and brought with her 24 years of customer service experience, most recently with a local computer training centre. Irene brings her many years of customer service to the forefront as our very own Director of First Impressions, ensuring the satisfaction of clients and field associates alike.

Bob Wilson  Training Facilitator Bob is responsible for the efficient operation of the computer-training centre. Bob has over 14 years experience teaching PC software in the classroom and individual environments. Bob is knowledgeable in a wide variety of software packages, as well as the installation of hardware/software applications. Recently, Bob was certified as a Microsoft Office User Specialist, Word 2002—Expert. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education, both from the University of Calgary.
